Civil & Structural Engineer

You will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in civil and structural projects, with a focus on ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with English and German-speaking clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Your contributions will be instrumental in delivering successful projects in diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Civil and Structural Design: Conduct detailed civil and structural engineering design and analysis for a wide range of projects, in particular data centres, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
Project Management: Lead or contribute to project management activities, such as planning, scheduling, and budgeting, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Multilingual Communication: Facilitate effective communication with both English and German-speaking clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities. This includes conducting meetings, writing reports, and providing documentation in both languages.
Site Inspections: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction activities adhere to design specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. Report findings and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
Collaboration: Collaborate with a diverse team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals to develop innovative solutions and resolve complex engineering challenges.
Technical Expertise: Stay updated on industry best practices, engineering technologies, and relevant codes and standards, applying this knowledge to project designs and solutions.
Quality Assurance: Maintain a high standard of quality control in project deliverables and ensure that all engineering work complies with legal and safety requirements.
Environmental Considerations: Integrate environmental sustainability principles into engineering designs when applicable.

Success profile:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
Proficiency in both English and German (verbal and written).
Proven experience in civil and structural engineering, with a focus on projects in various sectors.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with engineering software and design tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
