WELDING INSPECTOR
Successful profile:
- Technical education
- CSWIP 3.1 II level / IWE certificates
- RT and UT Certificates – will be an asset
- 3 years of working experience as Welding Inspector on similar projects
- Similar role covered in projects that are of a comparable size;
- Knowledge of standards, guidelines and regulations in the field of conducting welding processes
- Knowledge of materials science and welding processes
- Fluent knowledge of Polish and English, (knowledge of Italian language is welcome)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs required
Duties and responsibilities:
- Supervise the welding procedure of the welders operating within the project, according to specifications and standards;
- Check that Field welds comply with Project specifications;
- Check the execution of non-destructive tests and heat treatment; that all repairs are performed correctly and non-destructive tests are regularly repeated;
- Keep a report file for all non-destructive tests and heat treatment performed;
- Obtain any necessary approval for changing, as appropriate, welding procedures and for performing repairs requiring special procedures;
- Prepare monthly report.
